My first Dingwall!

Congratulations on your first Dingwall, Bocete! You are a brave man to go directly to the fanned fretless, I must say

It must be cool having an ABII fretless waiting for you. I gotta say I had a very good transaction with you Bocete. You have excellent communication. Bro don't use alcohol on the finish. And don't oil wipe the headstock as Sheldon hand signs it with paint pen, the oil will wipe it off. The finish is relatively maintenance free.

I love fretless in general, and am decent with my parallel unlined; so, how hard can a fanned fretless be? Worst case, I'll have to practice intonation. Dry cloth or something as plain as that. If the finish is as resiliant as people say, it will be a while before I need to do anything more. You're a pretty fine seller btw This online shopping thing is nice.

I may be the exception rather than the rule, but I've found in the past when playing a fretless SuperJ at Bass NW that it didn't really require any adjustment. Don't look at your hands while you play and everything should fall into place nicely. Good luck with the new bass!

Beautiful! I really like the clean look of this fretless, and the playability is probably butter! A little shame it has to be separated from it`s sibling.. Can hardly wait till I get mine.....

It was shipped from Texas to California. It was later brought from there to Canada where it sat in it's case for a few months before arriving to Serbia. The second impression was the balance. Unlike anything I've played, it just stands in position. Than the notorious fanned frets. They took no adjustment and I even didn't have absolutely no intonation problems. And I've never played fanned frets before. It's been said so many times, why can't the people realize that and relax about them The sound: acoustically, it sounds like put through a mild chorus and I love playing it unplugged. It can sing like a fretless, but it's not limited to doing that. I don't think I'll have any doubts or trouble retiring my other basses, both fretless and fretted. Nice first Dingwall. I recently played a similar one at Atlanta Bass Gallery and it was amazing in every respect. You really know how to treat yourself! Mark

Cool Bocete, it finally got there. One of my favorite tones was plucking over the fretboard for root fifth stuff, bridge PU with 25% bass boost. It gets a nice hybrid stand up sound.
