Hello Sheldon, Chad here, I was checking out the tops the other day and put my order in with Paul, for my custom exotic J. Joey was a big help, but couldn't answer all my questions, and since I have some time before you start the next run of super J's, I'll talk to you at you're convenience via forum. One of the questions I asked him, after I noticed the smaller treble horn on the 5-string model template was if this was going to be done to the 4's as well? He said you where "talking about it". I thought about it the past few days, and I'm going to put a bug in your ear and possibly see if this could be done for the next run of super J's? I personally would appreciate it, not only would it open up a little more room up there, it would also allow for the other top selection I preferred. Oh, by the way I think those other walnut tops you had Joey show me will be "nicer". Thank You Chad

Hi Chad, I'll look into it. At this point re-programming the 4-string body will compete for time with everthing else on my plate so could cause an indefinite delay. Also, remember the original top was from a Prima set so not available for an SJ.

I did prefer the tops you had Joey show me and really appreciate that I could come down there and have a look. Nice clean shop and knowledgeable staff, I can't wait. :D I'll start another thread about walnut vs alder bodies on a SJ!!! Keep your eyes peeled
