The light "stripes" on the Fretless aren't that standout in real life. Flash must be helping.

That's TwoPort's Z3 on the left, got it less than 3mo after entering Dingwallia with the AB1 on the right. Both are apparently NAMM basses, 2008 and 2002 respectively, and in theory the Z3 is the 1st of its ilk. Eventually I hope to replace the Carvin with a SPJ5. also need to get a better camera, sorry for the crappy cellphone shot.
Guilty. Though I did give someone else a whopping one day lead before snapping it up.
Thanks, I quite like it too. when the guys in the band first saw it they asked "what's up with your fretboard?" when I told them its Ziracote w/ sapwood, they looked at me as if I was speaking in tongues.
I wish I could get a good picture of the body, the pics look like its solid blue quilt, but the center is whitish when hit by the lights, it just never comes out on the camera. BTW, thanks for buying that SJ, I was looking at my bank balance and wondering how badly the wife was going to skin me if I picked it up.

Some very handsome trios there, thanks for sharing.
Gerrick: to get your wish, try taking your bass outside on a bright day. These cameras work best with lots and lots and lots of light. You might be surprised at the results you can get out of a cellphone - no need to buy a new camera, you can keep the money for the SPJ5
