well, if i could grab a new one for just 200$ more i definetly would. even if its 100% mint, its about the warranty, and beeing the first owner, plus you get to choose exactly which bass you want.
[b:3q0kxb22] This one also in addition to previous info has a matching headstock...This would easily cost you 29oo in a store and is a fantastic bass..so 2700 is very reasonable in its condition...[/b:3q0kxb22][/quote:3q0kxb22] Just my opinion, but a reduction that is less than 5% of the new price is a bit too ambitious, no matter the condition. It's second hand, I think most people would expect to see at least -15%. Just some advice, if you want this to be sold.
relax funky....I believe Ben was only trying to offer up his SuperJ. We should leave it at that. He can ask whatever he wants for it really, if someone is willing to buy it so be it. No need to badger.[/quote:3qv6yn60][b:3qv6yn60]that is correct...it was meant to primarily offer my dingwall//...I haved played since 72 and also collect..but this past year my diabetic neuropathy has gotten to the point I had to give up playing and after discussing with my kids ,we decided to thin the bass family......[/b:3qv6yn60]

The new ones have the magnetic battery cover on the back. If I have this right, you're the owner of Birdsong Basses and you're popping on to another Luthier's forum and posting your basses?

I was more hoping for your impressions of how they play and sound. 12 Birdsongs... that makes you the [b:3v0ldzit]Fullrange[/b:3v0ldzit] (our world record Dingwall owner on this forum) of Birdsong basses. Do you have a fretless Birdsong? Mark

Holy crap! Nice collection you are parting with. If only that SuperJ was a 5-string. Oh wait, they're not out yet!
