I thought I would share with you guys my attempt at Donna Lee. Had to spend quite some time in the shed for this one. Maybe one day I'll give it another shot to clean some stuff up but for now I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Let me know what you think!

Always appreciate you vids. You got skills man.

Question. How many hours do you figure you out into something like this?

Thanks so much for the kind words, Nate! I have a pretty strict practice routine. With that it still took me around 480 hours to get it up to that speed and get it as clean as I could. The amount of recordings I did were in the thousands! I still have a lot to practice and a lot to learn.

Holy crap!!!

Well good... I'm glad it takes that much practice cause you make it look easy all things considered. I wish I could afford that much time. That would easily be 60 weeks worth of practice for me.

I'm envious. I've never taken any lessons and have no routine. I just try and better myself on anything every time i play. Wether learning a riff from a random song, or finalizing a fill in an original or getting my slap a little more fluid. But it's a pretty random thing. I need to focus on scales and theory but have such a hard time with that.

Anyways..... looking forward to the next one.

Cheers,
Nate
