Hi, there was some discussion on TB around the Combustion. We can pretty well track the V1 to V2 changes and timeline. And the current V4(and NG2) are both easily identifiable. But, little can be found around a V3. Was there ever such a thing? If so, how would they be identified, what was changed from V2 to V3 and during what period? Thank you.

I wish I had time to dig into this deeper but IIRC the only change for V3 was a better and more consistent neck carve and Neodymium pickups.

That's fine info, happy with whatever is available. Curious if your records allow you to easily identify a construction/ship date by the serial number? I have a Combustion ser # 00520 Thank you

Mine is 00160 and it's V1. I bought the B Booster kit, it really brought the B string in line with all the others.
