I figure this new model deserves it's own thread. Here is the final version of the ABZ. We are using the new Combustion shells, however the pickups are FD-3's. Combustion pickups might be an option for aftermarket mods. This one weighs 8lbs 3oz and is off to Bass Northwest today.

i'm really getting hot on the idea of a natural finish ABZ... with that black hardware... holy smokes! even a transparent white mary kaye type finish with that black hardware would be such a stunning looker. saving my nickels. i may be in the Dingwall club sooner than i thought.

A trans white would be killer with black hardware.

We'd like to welcome Act 1 Music in Langley BC. Here's an ABZ that's on the way to them. This one has some really unique figuring to the wood (hard to see in the photo).

Hi Sheldon. Love your basses. How long of a wait time is it if I order a ABZ 5 in whalepool blueburst?

not sure about wait time, but i believe whalepool blue is a custom color made solely for Basscentral.com. ie- you have to get it from them.

Whalepool is a [b:1e0yduu5]regular colour option[/b:1e0yduu5] not just for BassCentral.

David-- Wow -- look forward to seeing the photos. I would guess your going to be the sole Dingwall owner in Berlin. My folks live in Berlin and I visit 3-4 times/yr. Nice quiet town (I grew up in Hudson Ma), my folks have already seen my Dingwall collection
