I've gotten sick of Candy Apple Red over the years so wanted to create something that looks like C.A.R. but better. It took a lot of experimentation, but I'm really happy with the results. The photos don't really show it, but in real life these finishes look like a cross between CAR and red chrome.
This one and it's PJ brother are heading to Japan next week.

I would love to see this finish effect in a medium blue. Sheldon, this finish looks very nice - keep playing with this effect with other colors!

Very nice! Now all you need is to give it a fancy car paint style name. How about Crimson Glimmer? Sheldon Sangria?
Keep up the experiments. Have you ever thought of a forest green in that style? That would look pretty cool.
