Hey Sheldon, I was wondering what you would recommend to configure the 3X pickups to all be on at once? I have an older ABZ and it doesn't have your current rotary selector. Thanks for your help!

Mo over at the Nordstrand shop helped me out and got me all squared away. He threw a new rotary switch in and now I have the option of the bridge and middle pickup in series with the bridge pickup parallel. Like the D-Bird, I think. I might want to try all three in series. What's your experience with that, Sheldon? Thanks so much for your time, Sheldon. My apologies for such a late response.

I don't know if you have found your answer Funk. I don't intend on stepping on Sheldon either, so he may correct me or chime in with more info of course. I just received my AB1 with 3x pickups. There is an optional rotary switch you can get to have 3x pickups be on. If I recall correctly, the Bridge and Middle are in Parallel with each other, and the pair are in Series with the Neck pickup. It's a very cool tone platter available, especially when combined with the 3x series/parallel toggles. Here's a link to my soundcloud - I switch through the toggles and EQ options on the 3x setting here, playing a simple scale up: https://soundcloud.com/seltabass/afterb ... e-settings

Ray, thank you so much!!! I have been looking for something as in depth as this that shows all of the tonal options. Thank you very much for taking the time to do this. I guarantee this will come in handy for me and a lot of other people. With Dingwall's being such tone monsters it is hard to hear all of the available tone options. Thanks to you there is a single place to hear all of the 3X options now. I will definitely be listening to this a few 100 times. Thanks again!

Ray, Would you happen to have a wiring diagram, or photo of your rotary schematic? Thanks, Jeff
