I forgot to mention, Bass Gear Mag has a review in the current issue. For those who aren't familiar with this new publication, it's the ultimate "gear-head" bass review mag. They take a very thorough and unique approach to reviewing the gear. So far the Z3 has the highest rating they've ever given a bass.

Tom Bowlus and the rest have put together a good magazine. I enjoyed the review for the Z3 as well. Also well done Sheldon for making such a good bass! :)

I let my friend try my Z3. He is a very accomplished player who has worked with Sheila E and Sheena Easton. He said he never imagined a bass could feel so incredible. No getting acquainted - just dove in and played a 2 hour gig.

Funny he said nothing about the fanned frets - he just bonded...

He went through all the DW phases of discovery over 2 hours that we all talk about.

After the gig he played solo another 1/2 hour quietly out of the amp (PHB 6-Pack) and a crowd of about 20 listened.... he just smiled and went nutz.

Finally he said he couldn't believe how a bass could be so inspirational and make him play better and more creatively and he was able to do things easily that he struggled with before. (think Wooten type stuff)...

The DW Muse is real! :D
