We've got a nice run of Z's going at the moment. Another one to start soon. Some of you may recognize these bodies already.

Very nice. I've said it before - Sheldon's finishes look like candy. How do we ever decide? This burst pattern draws your eye to the green stripe and the rest of the bass kind of fades away. I wouldn't opt for that type of burst, but to each his own. A Z in just the green would be awesome too. Mark

I have to start thinking what color combinations I just don't have yet. '' Sheldon really makes the best basses money can buy IMHO. And this starts from tone and goes up to aesthetics

Here's one that's leaving today. I've always liked the look of a dark wood on a light body. This is the first Z1 with Super-Fatties.

Wow, that's pretty. I always connect natural and 'dark' top woods with the Prima series...This one is a nice simple, elegant looking Z!

Oh painful gas. That's the best Z2 ever IMO. Must quell the deep painful longing.

"Z Group Shot" is the most sexy and happening bass thread on the www. Can't wait for the next bass being posted, and the next, and next... This particular thread makes the wait for my own custom Zebra a little less unbearable :)

Over to you Frank :) This one has a lot of understated class I think. The spalt is there when you look up close or when there's a strong light on it, but it disappears in the distance.

Gosh, what beautiful basses! I'm going to have to start whoring myself to all of the women in town. Either that or start collecting underpants (Phase 1). Phase 2?

Very nice indeed, I love the contrast between the body/headstock and the fretboard. Frank, I cant wait to hear what you have to say once you get it in your hands  Also I love the names for the basses, what is a TBB? and only Sheldon could label such a beautiful bass a "Super fatty full Joey II" :P N

I'm digging the old-school Voodoo inlays! Reminds me of my first official Dingwall-sighting in Bass Player's '97 5-string shootout.. Congratulations on a beautiful Zebra, Mr. Amodeo! Now we're all anticipating the completion and glamour-shots of the Rastafari-burst maple wonder :D

As a comparison, I think it looks beautiful with a bright light on it too! [img:1i2sfuhc]http://www.dingwallguitars.com/forum/files/img_1964_203.jpg[/img:1i2sfuhc] Congratulations, Frank! Let us know when you get it and give a review!

I said it before when I got the shots of the finishing stage...I'm speechless. I'm very happy an honored that you've built the bass of my dreams. Thank you for all your time, your effort and all the ideas that you've presented and brought to the table in the past 3 years. :D
