We've got a nice run of Z's going at the moment. Another one to start soon. Some of you may recognize these bodies already.

Hi everybody! I'm new here, after having followed the forum closely the last month. I have just ordered my first Dingwall, and I'm kinda having trouble with the 2 year waiting time, especially when I see beautiful Z2's like this green one.. Droolin':o Not too many Z2's around here, is this a particularly rare model?? Beepo, Oslo, Norway.
Picked it up Monday. Looks much better in person. The color is a little darker. I finally got around to setting up the action. Plays really sweet, not like my Z1 though. My Z1 plays like a guitar. I haven't been able to find the old Z2 tone that i am looking for. However the tone is much fatter on this guitar than i expected. Pretty happy so far.[/quote:ej8b7fdt] Awesome! Did you have to raise the action? Don't all Dingwalls come setup for low action (light touch players). Pics!

One of two that will be leaving tomorrow. This color was inspired by the original Snotburst/Brazil.

I'm humbled that such an idea comes from a fellow Ding-aholic who has basses who deserve exposure (basing the idea not only on looks but on sound tone too)

Something about the super clean lines and light color makes me think the bass is wearing a tuxedo. It's super classy!!! Fullie, is this your new "smooth jazz" bass? It needs to be on the cover of some magazine for sure... :D
Brim, that's over my head. My photoshop skills are pretty pedestrian [/quote:obi8kuki] Hehe. Even with photoshop, it's still crucial to get a good exposure, but as you mentioned this particular bass is tough to shoot. Too much contrast even for digital "film" (you're shooting digital correct?) [img:obi8kuki]http://www.dingwallguitars.com/forum/files/z2_5_super_fatty_full_shot_398.jpg[/img:obi8kuki] I was wondering Sheldon, why the partially scalloped heel? Is it functional or purely aesthetic? It's a nice touch.

The fret markers are so cool - the way they "ride" the wave. Really nice touch. Amazing bass Sheldon (& Eddy)! Sheldon - you keep out doing yourself man!

Wow! It's getting hard to keep up with the wow factor around here these day. Congrats on the new Z3, Fullie -- another masterpiece by Sheldon.
Hey Metalstorm. You can browse through the "What can possibly better than a Dingwall" and see couple of sweet 6strings (one of them is the first ever Prima Artist)[/quote:33zhqmgg] Let's not forget the "Show Yer Dingwall" thread. There's a really nice WPB Voodoo 6'er there. :P Mark
