Hi fellow Ding-aholics. I have been stating lately that I am out of GAS for the near future, and I always said that this is for some good reason. I am sure you understand that I am a fan of Sheldon's Works of Art.
So we have a question to answer:
What can possibly be better than a Dingwall???

I thank all the fellow Ding-aholics and esp Sheldon that keeps me addicted on his functional pieces of art.
Update on the Z2:
couple of hours ago I replaced the Barts on my Z2 with a pair of FD3's. Wow!!! Tone-wise it was like there was a blanket lifted off the bass, and output-wise someone (Sheldon in specific) gave it an energy boost (but not compressed!!!) to allow all dynamics be revealed. Spoiled again. Now I need to post for both my Stingray 5 and my G&L 2500 US to be sold (i accept offers really; Europe mainly, but everything considered)

Those who have seen the collection (or even part of it) feel that they are in a museum of tone instruments. I wish Sheldon and Dingwall Sales would be the first ones (along with all fellow Ding-aholics and notable friends) to see the herd before I start thinning it down.

Ok. Please don't forget to bring Miss Norway 2007 (or something of that caliber) when you get here, so I will not feel sad and lonely when you are amongst my beauties, trying them out.
In fact, I had suggested to Sheldon to have a Playmate delivering the Artist Primas to the Ding-aholics (purely as part of a therapeutic substitution therapy for severe cases of Dingwall-itis, like myself) but my suggestion did not get the nod of approval. I wonder why 
am zigzaging from bosnia to poland, so no greece this year

Ix-nay on the Amate-Play. That would definiely put an end to my future Dingwall plans.

Hey fellow Ding-aholics. I tried to fit all Dingwalls in one bed to take a pic but it was not possible. I will make an effort over the weekend to line up all of them on a blanket in the living room floor and have a go at it.
As far as the Latin/ Nuevo Flamenco rec session goes, it never happened cause my gramma entered the hospital after falling in her house. She's ok now, but I chose to cancel the recording to go to her. I will make it happen in September to compare the three thickest sounding Dingwalls (Uber Alles, Villex-loaded, Brazil). In September many of my Dingwalls will see recording action (along with my Avalon U5) in different projects.

The "herd" may be the 8th wonder due to the sheer volume it occupies in the vault they rest!!! It's truly Sheldon's fault though. If he did not spoil all of us with such great basses, we wouldn't have been Dingwall-addicted.
Just got back from church band rehearsal. Wow the AB-II sounded great! I've been playing it in series and parallel until tonight when on the last song I went bridge pickup only. Man...what a punchy unique sound. Jaco type burp you know what I mean. This was with blueqube off.
Thanks for making wonderful basses Sheldon. Hats off to you.
