Hello there, I have a Z2 on order, so I do need money to pay for it. I offer my "pre-fire" 1994 (according to Sheldon) Voodoo Prima 5 string bass for sale, serial no. 1118. It is one with the classic parallel pickup configuration, Bartolini pickups and Bartolini 2 band electronics. The body core is light mahogany with a flamed maple top and back. The neck is maple, 11 pieces glued together like Sheldon used to do it in his "hippie times" - makes the neck very stable, straight, low action and easy to play. I guess the fretboard is wenge and there are the classic bar markers, the bridge is the classic Kahler system. She is in really excellent shape, you can judge this maybe by the pics I placed on PAGE 7 of the "Show Yer Dingwall" thread. I also do own a bass very similar to this one, but with the new pickup placement, Dingwall Pickups and bridge and OBP-3 electronics. If I compare the sound of these two basses, the one on offer sounds a lot more open, maybe not as fat and mighty, but with a lot of "air" in the very detailed sound. This might make the bass pretty desirable for players as an altervative to the regular Dingwalls. Moreover it might be a collectors piece for Dingwall fans. Anyway, this is an excellent bass and I hate to sell it, but I need the money. The bass comes with a non original good quality gigbag. The price is 1450 Euros shipped within most parts of Europe. For overseas shipping please add 100 Euros. I accept bank transfer, Paypal and Western Union. My 100% positive ebay account is: christophpoeschl - if anybody is interested. Interested? Any questions, please drop me a message at basstolero at email dot de . Moreover I have a 2001 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass V on offer. It is the pretty rare ash body version, finish is sunset orange with a tort and the original white pickguard. The fretboard is pao ferro. The bass is in mint shape and comes in the original case and case candy. I am the original owner, the original stickers even are on the white pickguard. The price is 950 Euros shipped within most parts of Europe. For overseas I might have to pull the neck and switch to a gigbag due to size limits, not sure about that. Pics? Questions? Please use the same address as above. Take care, Chris

Mark you are someone who sees things through his crystal ball and he gets everything right. Now you need to think hard for the sequel of the 'conspiracy" thread

Too kind, FRB, too kind...I think I may buy the Fender to go along with my existing Fender that I let someone borrow and I forgot who, and I don't care...

The truth of the matter is that guitarded is keeping a close eye on things and when he read of the new conspiracy thread, he found out about the positive feedback that Tom Bowlus and myself had exchanged, and then when he looked up on Tom's gear list the PA was listed as sold. Who else might have been??? only FRB!!!! Congratulations Mark!!! Now you need to help Sheldon to find that resonant piece of cork for my PA Dingwall

[quote="fullrangebass":32hf0n82]Congratulations Mark!!! Now you need to help Sheldon to find that resonant piece of cork for my PA Dingwall [/quote:32hf0n82] Thanks, Eddy. It wasn't too hard to figure it out this time. I'm puzzled by this. How hard can it be to find this wood? Isn't the Mediterranian live oak (cork) tree common in your part of the world? When I finally get a PA, I plan on having it topped with mesquite, with a pecan body, in tribute to our fair state. Mark

The cork wood is a joke (the cork that we seal the wine bottles). Oh, I would like to have 7 1/2 strings too :P :P :P I am not revealing the woods I'll be using for my PA (Sheldon knows though and he keeps his eyes open). I am trying to keep it as a surprise and hopefully it will be a first at certain points. This will be another thread. Let's help Basstolero to sell his Fender too

Plus, this may help me with a Z3 order...
