a fishy tale for sure: asking DIngwall owners to help keep and eye out for a 2012 combustion2 modified, heres whats occurred.... i had the bass for sale a nd negotiated for a trade with a national level dealer for an amp i was wanting, all cool, carefully packed the bass and shipped with tracking and insurance via UPS the trip was 4 days ground. the last place it was scanned was dallas TX last friday, and from that point they have no idea where it went??? 7 days ago. a 6ft long 2ft wide 12 inch thick box with bass and case weighing 30 pounds, went "poof" and was gone. Ups is being very co-operative, and it was insured so i am probably gonna come out ok, but i am pissed to say the least, maybe it got put on a truck to south Dakota and will eventually show, but after 6 days travel in any direction from Dallas it shoulda showed by now being some what of a suspicious nature, i think the bass was either "removed" from the system or erroneously delivered to a location where it doesnt belong and someones waiting to take advantage of the situation.... i have my ebay set to every dingwall that gets listed i see anyway, now watching craigs list as well these things are rare enough its bound to surface eventually. serial # 00292 2012 combustion 2 5stringmatte black with black pearl pick guard rosewood board also very unusual : bass has FD3 PJ pickups and has been converted to single vol with dingwall selector switch and has Sheldon's soft touch knobs you guys keep yer eyes peeled please thanks
