Here are the first two production versions of the Lee Sklar model. All I can say is that these things sound outrageous!

Probably could hav e-mailed Dingwall Sales, but didn't want to bug him when I'm not planning to get one, unless I win the lottery. Also, having that info here may be useful to someone else. The LSS Z2 is a lot more expensive than a Z3. I have expected otherwise. Oh well. [url=http://web.mac.com/thepoptarts/bass_guitar_specialists/Dingwall_Z2.html:t46q5wqd]UK prices[/url:t46q5wqd] EDIT: I've read a bit about the LSS. I understand it's price now, and am gassing for the first time since I've bought my AB-II. :?

Hey Erlend, Welcome to the forum. If you too get a Sklar, Norway must become the most LSS-dense country in the world ;) Mine is also completely paid now, so just waiting for the UPS-Santa.. "I'm dreaming of a CandyGreen Christmas"

In Germany the Z3 is much more expensive than the LSS, look here: [url:129i38s0]http://www.musik-schmidt.de/index.php?language=gb&manufacturers_id=1083&page=2&[/url:129i38s0]

The Z prices should be more similar to the Musik-Schmidt prices.

Any news on the rest of these Sheldon? I knew I wouldn't get it before Christmas when I saw Beepo got his beauty, but I was hoping to get mine for my birthday. That didn't happen either of course, but at least an update on the status would be fine.

Sheldon, I am curious as to the output of each of the 4 pickup positions available on the LSS in passive mode. I am particularly interested in the output of both pickups in series.

However the output of both pickups in series is roughly the same as our FD3 equipped basses with both pickups in series. Hopefully you have access to one of those. If not, the output is relatively hot.
