I've been too take photos of this run, but here's the first production SJ5 off the line. It's Special Edition Flametop Exotic going to Juan and Jim at Bass and Beyond. Nice choice on the color and fingerboard (Would someone teach me how to photograph red  ) The actual color is more Red/blue shade than Red/Orange shade.

Very nice, indeed, both of them, but I'm not sure about the neck on the burst one. I'd love to see one like it with a morado board and pearl blocks. On second thought, maybe I shouldn't see that! :P Mark

Here's one that just shipped out today. This is the first one with pearloid blocks. I was originally going to use MOP, but couldn't find stock thick enough. Now that I see the Pearloid, I think it looks WAY better than MOP would have. I'll post some more photos when I can. For now it's just the neck closeup.

I am glad I asked for MOP inlays and I am more glad that you used pearloid instead. I can't imagine anything that would look better! I will be waiting for the brown truck now! It's not fair. I start DAS-ing for a Super J5 when I'm not even through with the sounds available from my FRB Z3 and the Fretless, let alone the latest Prima Artist and the old stock AB II that I only recently recieved. Fantastic looks Sheldon.

I can't guarantee that we'll put this into production, but here's a shot of a prototype matching (the fingerboard) headstock for a SJ5 Custom Exotic.

It will be interesting to see how it turns out on a finished SJ5.

I can't imagine that looking anything less than spectacular when it's finished.
