Hi Sheldon, I hope you had a good Christmas Holiday and all is well with your family.
Back quite a while ago, we had a conversation about the "new" fretwire you've been using for the past couple of years, which has a higher brass content than the older stuff. I had noticed that my Voodoo/Zebra's frets suffer from greening way more than my ol' Afterburner I.
You suggested the use of Brasso for a cleaning. After much delay (mostly laziness and a full slate of other stuff going on), I have some brasso and a few extra minutes in my life. What's the best and safest way to polish up my frets? Should I use low-tack painters tape to mask then apply? What's the safest and most graceful way to do this and keep my bass in 'like new condition".
BTW, the Rastaburst is STILL in pristine shape, even with steady, active play for several years now.

It's a credit to the wonderful finishing done at Dingwall World Headquarters.
