haha.... yes back to reality. i seem to find more depth in my ABII versus my SJ-4, so just wondering if you'll ever be as pleased with that aspect even when you get your brand new SJ-5? there's something very special about the AB series... hmmmm...

Hi lomo what you've just said is the only thing that keeps me from jumping on a Super J (or P/J). I am one ofthe very few individuals who shy away from the J vibe and feel (and I am 10000% sure that Sheldon has applied his magic in a perfect and realistic way before he even spoke a word). I LOVE the feel of the Prima and Z scale

I don't play my beloved SJ a great deal because my ABI-5 is so versatile. The SJ looks more vintage and sounds more retro than the AB by design, of course. That said, you need to know that the feel is nothing like a Fender-type bass because of the tiny neck and ridiculously low action that is possible on these basses. It has a very unique feel for such a traditional looking bass guitar. Honestly, Fully, as bad as you have it for Dingwalls I figure you would own an SJ just to plunk around on Mark

It's about time that [i:1nntokt7]that[/i:1nntokt7] sale will begin very soon. I am trying to work out some trades right now. I will post my "herd" list on the relevant thread, specifying which ones I'm willing to let go (along with pics and prices), and which ones are to stay (the Dingwalls are to stay, unless exchanged with another Dingwall). Then I will invite my fellow Ding-aholics to give me their offers (cash or Dingwall related). Any Dingwall related trade offer will have top priority eg an Artist Prima for a Fodera Another thought would be to open up a museum of basses, and charge an admission fee; trying the basses and replying to questions about the sound, woods, ergonomics and playability of each bass (esp compared to others) will require a higher entrance fee or a VIP pass (that all Dingwall forum members will have). The money that I will gather from the museum, will fund my next Dingwall project (I can hear Sheldon shouting "Oh, No!!! Someone please stop him!!!" ). Shall I start accepting high priority offers to visit the "herd" in the "farm and field"?

The Dingwall exhibition will be the Emperor's Vault part of the museum. Only cases of severe Dingwall-itis will be admitted there. The only two free tickets (along with the VIP passes) will be given to Sheldon Dingwall and Dingwall Sales Lamb No free admissions after these two. I've signed you up for the tour at the discounted VIP-pass price
