The evolution of the SuperP headstock has made it very similar to the SuperJ headstock (starting with the outline of the trademark scoop, to the plastic badge and finally the full scoop rounded into the headstock end). I am curious to know why you haven't just gone with the same shape across the board, especially seeing as they have the same neck profile (on the 5-strings). Wouldn't it be easier for production to have commonality across the models? My personal favourite is the SJ's headstock, although I have to admit, the current SP's are a drastic improvement over the screwed on badges of the early models.

We're in the process of standardizing the 5-string headstock shape. The 4's will be slightly different due to the wider nut and slightly different tuner placement on the Super P.
