I've been a busy player this past weekend- 4 shows in 3 days. My ABI performed flawlessly, as usual, and despite crazy temprature and weather extremes, the tuning was rock solid:
[b:2zuevwvu]Thursday[/b:2zuevwvu]: 9PM gig in an air conditioned club, that quickly heated up due to an enormous crowd, tuned down 1/2 step.
[b:2zuevwvu]Friday[/b:2zuevwvu]: 4PM gig outside on a covered stage at the TBone Walker Blues Festival, steady light rain and high 70s temps, tuned up to A-440; the stage crew outside saw me and the first thing they asked was, " Did you bring the Dingwall?"- they remembered from last year; then back to the air conditioned club at 9PM, tuned down 1/2 again, where the place became hotter and more crowded than the night before (they actually ran out of cold beer - no problem, though - I was sipping Patron

)
[b:2zuevwvu]Saturday[/b:2zuevwvu]: Blues festival again at 4PM, but inside this time, tuned back to pitch. Yep, one of the inside stage crew saw me and asked, "You playing the Dingwall today?"- he also remembered it from last year.
Whew- that's a lot for an old guy, but the Dingwall was, again, a total pleasure to play and the tuning was very stable. The sound guys, again, raved about the tone and reported that the bass needed no EQing at the board. The inside guy commented after the set, " I wish more guys used a Dingwall- it sounds amazing." Yes, it does

Thanks, Sheldon, for creating such an incredible instrument.
