I chose the rosewood for looks and that rosewood has a bit less high end than maple, I prefer a bassier tone

And I'm not even mad! It's not often that a camera mic picks up awesome bass tone like that. Please keep making music. And let people take pictures once in a while.

Lol, Erwin, you certainly aren't afraid to mod your bass, are you? I haven't seen that bass in a while, and it looks like your Dinger was assimilated by the Borg! Lookin' sweet!

Is that the one with the green LED fret markers? Also, that doesn't look like a comfortable playing position for very long. At least not to me.

Yes, it's the one with the laser LED's. It was a campfire gig so did'nt take long:-) Still very pleased with my Dingwall and after all the mod's he's even MORE versitile than the usual stuff. Greetings from Holland, Erwin

It's a couple day trip by sled-dog from my igloo to the nearest house with a TV, and the snow is REALLY wet and sticky in the summer, but it's worth it! TNG is my fav!

Well John, I doubt I'll be coming back any time soon. It's expensive to fly out there from here! (I've never seen Voyager, sorry :( ) Here's some pics from an impromptu "concert" at my local coffee shop, playing my Combustion and my new AB-II 6 string! 8)  [img:2lxuhj1j]http://i907.photobucket.com/albums/ac274/TheGrandEnigma/Coffee%20Shop%20Impromptu/IMG_1370.jpg[/img:2lxuhj1j] [img:2lxuhj1j]http://i907.photobucket.com/albums/ac274/TheGrandEnigma/Coffee%20Shop%20Impromptu/IMG_1360.jpg[/img:2lxuhj1j] Full Album: http://s907.photobucket.com/albums/ac27 ... While other bassists use a "fridge" cabinet (SVT, 8x10), you actually use a fridge! Nice 6er. That Candy Apple Green ain't too shabby either!

Well SMB, that's not [i:39uz2eia]entirely [/i:39uz2eia]accurate: it's a freezer. I find it gets much crisper, more precise tones than the fridges warmer feel. :P I just got it back from Sheldon and Jeff yesterday (setup, new strings etc. It used to be strung starting F#, which was intense but not for me) and it sounds niiiice! If I can ever get out to my brother's place, I'll record it and post sound clips. The CAG Comby is nice and I'd like to keep it as a backup, but bills gotta get paid. It's prolly going to go up once I'm used to the extra string. :(
