Shots from a gig at The Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, with new band, Temper Temper, just a few hours after meeting Sheldon & Dingwall Sales... A great end to a great day - we brought the house down 8) (And yes, the SJ5 was sounding good, really good :P ) [img:2ae6zf03]http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb236/bigbadjonny/Temper%20Temper/P1040960.jpg[/img:2ae6zf03] [img:2ae6zf03]http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb236/bigbadjonny/Temper%20Temper/P1040957.jpg[/img:2ae6zf03]

There's come a few clips from a show i played in London this tuesday. Not the best sound quality & wasnt super happy with the sound (got an svt2 instead of svt4 pro which i expected), but there's dingwall footage and there shall be more =) Entire gig in 4 parts. Camera doesnt seem to pick up too much lows tho. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYQhb-MVES4 And a couple of the pics i found: [img:1dluop0b]http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/196330_10150466288020235_709285234_18011486_3622612_n.jpg[/img:1dluop0b] [img:1dluop0b]http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/188867_10150220010632501_528992500_9140847_5462238_n.jpg[/img:1dluop0b]

Here's a shot from a recent gig - in an art gallery of all places - here in London. It was great to have Mr Dingwall Sales Lamb turn up with a bunch of friends, including another Dingwallian, Dave Swift (Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra). In spite of it being a less-than-ideal space, once it was full of people, the sound was fine... [img:2bdiiq7x]http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb236/bigbadjonny/72cc095d.jpg[/img:2bdiiq7x]

I was curious - do you bring that piano with, or is it digital or is it the gallery's or is it rented?

Hey Jonny thanks for the invite we all had a great time, really dug your set and your SJ5 had a very commanding tone, anchored the sound of the band extremely well.

Here's a globetrotting Dingwall from La France, on stage at the annual show of our local amateur music school?club?association? First photo is everybody concentrating real hard - we're only on stage for one number, so there's no warm-up or second chances. 16.jpg[/attachment:28hn96no] Second photo is just after the song's over - that's what I call a happy bunch on stage; job done! 18.jpg[/attachment:28hn96no] Photo credit goes to Jim.

'tis indeed a very nice bass, Blong, and I think if California Bass here in Paris had had the whole set of Combustible colours available on the rack I would still have picked that 3-tone sunburst. Which number have you got? Mine's stamped 00249 on the headstock (haven't opened up the body to see if there's a number somewhere in the electronics cavity or the neck pocket).

My serial number is 00312 and for me the 3 toneburst was my only choice, the only debate was rosewood or maple fingerboard
My serial number is 00312 and for me the 3 toneburst was my only choice, the only debate was rosewood or maple fingerboard[/quote:qw9zefpl] What made you go for the rosewood? I haven't developed the ears yet to tell the difference, so I'd have gone on looks alone.
Mine's 00024[/quote:qw9zefpl] Hey, that's the same number as mine-logical-shifted-right! :D ... and a few months later you became the proud owner of an Afterburner 2... funny that, the ABII was the bass that finished persuading me to buy Dingwall - but so far I'm resisting the call of the ABII! Although I am looking hard at upgrading to the P-Tone/AL pick-up set, and swapping the EMG preamp for the Glockenlang...
