but it's so much easier on a Dingwall. [img:3rioon4n]http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a315/guitarded99/guitarded.jpg[/img:3rioon4n]

Playin' in a gym, with not near enough PA coverage, and a very small and tight stage...with a 102 degree fever. Probably the best time to run riddim for several acts we've never rehearsed with! [img:36j5xvgc]http://homepage.mac.com/burningskies/.Pictures/26657.jpg[/img:36j5xvgc] Backing up Kwadwo Sankofa & Nehanda Gyan-Apentengng...we also backed a second dancehall artist before our own set as well. The other angle...just as crowded, but you can see I'm playing the Rastaburst: [img:36j5xvgc]http://homepage.mac.com/burningskies/.Pictures/266571.jpg[/img:36j5xvgc]

Nothing wrong with growing your legend.

Having a real performer who knows how to call the changes right and one who knows how to wheel a band, mix it, and work the crowd into shape is good fun. The performer in the picture was much more of a singer performer but we did the dancehall act too and its really just good fun heads up playing...when it works it really works.

My AB, SJ, and Combustion all have small battle scars even though I try to protect them. I run from guitarists when they cross over to my side to "rock out" - you know the move. Ahhh the dangers of rock and roll.... Mark

Some recent gig pics! [img:34ad8ilz]http://lh6.ggpht.com/_ycCeFTJWlq8/TA_AWjtAtII/AAAAAAAAAbQ/RXztTTNCDiw/s800/IMG_0380.jpg[/img:34ad8ilz] Fretlessing! You can see the angle at which [url=http://www.dingwallguitars.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1323:34ad8ilz]the strap mod[/url:34ad8ilz] keeps the bass. Don't you have wrist problems? If not, what's your secret? :)

Some weeks the fingers on both hands feel like they need a rest after the weekend, but I attribute that to loading in loading out heavy equipment night after night. My wife told me it's like riding dressage, if you can make your heel get accustomed to the toe pointing straight up all the time you get used to it. To me, that looks more uncomfortable than any position I get into!

Many people play with such wrist positions without any problems for decades, so why not.. Still, no matter how much I argue, my wrists just don't get it :)

I always found that my right hand suffers more from bass placement than my left does. I play better with my bass higher up, but I end up with wrist pain in my left arm with the bass worn fairly high. I lose left and right hand precision if I drop the bass to belt level.
