Playin' in a gym, with not near enough PA coverage, and a very small and tight stage...with a 102 degree fever. Probably the best time to run riddim for several acts we've never rehearsed with! [img:36j5xvgc]http://homepage.mac.com/burningskies/.Pictures/26657.jpg[/img:36j5xvgc] Backing up Kwadwo Sankofa & Nehanda Gyan-Apentengng...we also backed a second dancehall artist before our own set as well. The other angle...just as crowded, but you can see I'm playing the Rastaburst: [img:36j5xvgc]http://homepage.mac.com/burningskies/.Pictures/266571.jpg[/img:36j5xvgc]

Lol this question... like if i've already heard it... sooo good ;-) For the fun on stage... we really had, despite these pics : They were taken during the first song of the first live experiment for us... so maybe (for sure) some of us (all of us) were a bit (a lot) concentrated (deathly anxious). We were playing in front of our families and some friends, about 70 people.... this isn't Wembley Stadium but it gave me the will to play more and more gigs ! Fun on stage ? Like when i saw the face of the keyboard player when a photograph did drop a remote flash on the Korg ? See below

Very nice bass and t-shirt. And it looks you all are having fun on stage. Just one question: why aren't the frets straight? :P :P :P

[quote="Helcarauco":35xfrvgd]My first gig, and one of the first (maybe THE first ?) Swiss stage for a Dingwall [/quote:35xfrvgd] Nice bass and hope your gig went well. Switzerland has seen a Dingwall or two (but probably not many) as Lee Sklar had been there with his before we played at Lake Geneva last spring. The guys who did our sound had done sound for him with Phil Collins and knew all about the fanned frets and great sound. Keep rockin'.

My first gig, and one of the first (maybe THE first ?) Swiss stage for a Dingwall ! Had half of the people coming after the show to ask about this "beautiful strange instrument" :-) The band is named Trophallaxy, Melodic-Rock-Metal-Blues-Fusion-something-whatever

I've been tidying up my computer. This picture's about two years old. The guitar player is the incredible Johnny Hiland from Nashville, and our guitar player is the brother of his personal manager. They swung through here on their way to New York. Johnny was going there to play with Les Paul. We set up a gig, called up the locals to come down and Johnny became our new lead guitarist for the night. You can barely see his hands they moved so fast at times. Johnny"s CD is called "Favored Nations", and really shows his diverse talents. Produced by Steve Vai, it features Danny Gatton's keyboard/sax player, the drummer from Mr. Big, and Billy Sheehan on bass. Also, there's a "Johnny Hiland" model PRS guitar now. Steve, our guitarist, got prototype #3 from Johnny and his brother.

Just finished some recording for a friend's instructional dvd with an Avalon U5 and a Z1 of course. The pics are from a cell phone camera. The recording engineer said "This bass has no ugly frequencies, nowhere across the spectrum" "first time ever i run a bass flat" "No muddiness here; clear and full sonic identity" "most harmonically rich instrument i've heard" And the answer for this sonic perfection lies on the t-shirt!!! (does it read "Done-well??? it sure does) PS I have been sleepless for few days so please don't comment on how ugly i look!!! Just stare at the beauty i'm holding
