Hi all,
The "black chrome" hardware on my couple-month-old NG-2 has started to pit, tarnish, and do all those other wonderful things that black chrome hardware tends to do. Rather than keep fighting with it with polish and WD-40 as recommended by Hipshot, I've decided to just switch all the hardware out for black.
I can source the knobs, electrosocket jack, strap buttons, and string retainer (it's a standard floyd rose bar retainer as best I can tell) - but I'm having a heck of a time with the rest.
I assume the tuners are the "licensed" HB6Y, as shown here:
http://store.hipshotproducts.com/cart.p ... tail&p=404
and that I'd need two bass side and three treble side. Do I have the correct part here?
Second, I've read on some threads here (I didn't bump them because they were 4-5 years old each) that for the bridges, people were using the Chinese-made ABM "Replicas" as shown here:

rather than the genuine ABM piece shown here:

The thread in question is here, though Mark L and the OP of that thread haven't been on since 2015 and 2014, respectively:

Does anyone know which of these is the CORRECT part? I'd assume that since the tuners are the Chinese-made hipshot licensed tuners, the Chinese-made single string bridges would be the correct replacements as well.
I don't have a problem buying the US made stuff either, it's just that, well... the tuners are $35 each, as are the bridge saddles, bringing me to $350+ to fix a cosmetic issue with an "upgrade."
Thoughts, input, etc are appreciated!
