So I searched the forum for sound clips, and the only results were people asking for clips, or people saying that they would post clips soon. Nobody has ever actually put clips up, or even linked to Dingwall clips somewhere else. So here it is: the unofficial sound clips thread. If you know of Dingwall clips anywhere, even someone else's, please link to them.

I played a worship concert at my church last night. I used my ABII-5 for our team's set (there were two more bands after us) and then again for a finale 3-song set. The concert was recorded and video'd - I think the CD / DVD will be available in the fall. I'm really excited about hearing the Dingwall on the recording [b:2is6mlo1]and[/b:2is6mlo1] seeing it on video! The sound techs took a line from my Eden head, so the sound may be a bit colored but that's ok because it sounded huge on stage (low D, C, & B's were thunderous). I'll keep you guys posted. :) I've got a clip of my ABII on my [url=http://www.myspace.com/xavjr:2is6mlo1]myspace page[/url:2is6mlo1] - click on the clip called motown. It's a little rough but you get the idea. If I recall correctly, I ran ABII in parallel, bass boosted to 50%, treble 25% (I don't have the hybrid treble control), volume 100%, straight into Garageband on my iMac. Still haven't figured the whole lag issue, guess I need a better interface than plugging right into the audio port.

Good idea, I'd love to hear some more recordings, there are very few around! I still can't decide between an AB-I or II and have no idea if a Super J is worth waiting/saving up for. I've always done recordings for people when selling basses, it's better than a shot in the dark. :) Cheers, EG

Hi Johnnyrok101 I record and keep track of every setting of every bass (it is an overkill but it is really worth the effort). I hope I'll finish soon so I can post links

(I also think it'd be useful to say what the model/settings/recordings methods were used too - as much detail as possible really...)

Yeah, getting a clips thread going is something I've been wanting to do for a while but been too busy with work, family, etc. to give it the attention needed. It would/will be a welcome addition to the forum though, for sure.

I have recordings of my Dingwalls in a band context (both covers as well as originals). I am still in the process of recording ALL my Dingwalls to create a Dingwall sound library (My FRB Z3 takes forever with so many sonic combinations, to mention just one bass). I'll be back soon. PS if few people I've played with, post clips and videos of me playing with them I'll post the links
