:o Ooooohhhh! Man, that is the bomb! They are all beautiful, but the fretless one is just killing me. Jjango really has some great ideas. If the SuperP ever makes it to production, I think it should be with a bridge pickup though. My favorite F-style basses have been P bodies with a J bridge pickup. J., let's see one in hot pink just for fun, puhleeeeze. Mark

Thanks, guitarded! Yeah, the fretless one is my favorite, too. I wonder how much of a challenge playing a fanned, unlined fretless would be. Maybe it wouldn't be too hard, I mean I don't really look at my hands when I play a [i:5zzi5upg]non[/i:5zzi5upg]-fanned fretless. I figured that most people like a PJ setup, but for some reason, the J pickup always throws off the [i:5zzi5upg]look[/i:5zzi5upg] of a P-Bass for me. I know it's just one of my eccentricities, though, cuz I like to have that additional sound option! (hmm, maybe Sheldon could design an [i:5zzi5upg]invisible[/i:5zzi5upg] pickup...) But until that time, here's a hot pink PJ for ya: [img:5zzi5upg]http://xs230.xs.to/xs230/08345/hot_pink396.jpg[/img:5zzi5upg] (click image for full-size)[/size:5zzi5upg]

I somehow feel Jjango is just a part of a larger than life plan to make me broke!!! The Super P 5's look fantastic the least. I already envision some custom options that will not show at all yet they will allow for a zillion of sonic poibilities!!!   . I also envision Sheldon putting up a reward to anyone who will stop me from coming up with all the headache inducing ideas

That is just too much, Jjango. You have some mad skills there, J. Thanks. If this Dingwall makes it to production, I think it will eclipse all the other Dingwall models in popularity. BTW, I would like to see the B string scale stretched on these F-style Dingwalls to 37", or at least have that as an option. Mark

Very cool. Thanks for doing that. My initial dream Dingwall was a 'p' style but ended up going with the 'pj' because of its availability. Although I still love the 'p' style, i'd hate to give up the 'j' p/u. I'm sure there's a market for the 'p' and especially in a fiver. I agree, a 37" B would be killer on these...
Here's a kind of boutique-y one for all the wood lovers: [/quote:1mr7583p] WOW! Boutique kicks (you-know-what) hard! :) With this woods and colors it could become a superstar. A superior option: match fingerboard and body. Very good idea! :) Can you make fretless one?

Make it a 37 inch B and I'm sold! I seriously need to compare the SJ5 to the longer scale AB's etc. and that COULD possibly transplant the Z gas to the SJ5 or potential SP5 gas!
Shty, did you mean with a fretless curly maple fingerboard?[/quote:1c79v6u3] :) no, I meant exactly the same fingerboard, only fretless. I just wonder how would it looks like when fretless. The point is the body top, which is blonde, surrounded by darker woods. The dark body and fingerboard woods (thats the matching!) looks like some sort of a frame to a body top. A very unusual look, I like it much. Will tease Sheldon to build me that one. (I only hope the tease is the right word) :)
