[b:m8pb2f5l]SOLD[/size:m8pb2f5l][/b:m8pb2f5l] Here's info on this great instrument. [b:m8pb2f5l]Dingwall Z2 6 String[/b:m8pb2f5l] Dual Density Ash body Quilted Maple Top Transparent Purple (ish) Maple neck, Wenge fingerboard Zero Fret & Slap Scoop Hipshot Drop Tuner on B String Bartolini Pickups Dingwall Electronics Sheldon picked the very cool transparent purple color. There is custom neck angle in the neck heel and the neck is set into the body so there is an 11mm string height between the body and the bottom of the strings at the end of the neck. It plays firmly, yet easily, and sounds huge and at the same time very foucused. This is a very special instrument. There is just so much right with this bass it's sickening. I've played this bass in only six rehearsals and used it on only one gig. Other than that (I know you believe it but it's true), [/size:m8pb2f5l]it's never been out of my house. It's a sofa special. Purchased this bass in the US, it would cost about $5700.00. $3,000.00 o.b.o. (plus Shipping and all fees) Comes with a Levy's Dingwall Gig Bag.
care to trade for a ABII 5?[/quote:i2pqltzq] At this point, the only reason I am going to sell this bass (among others) is for financial reasons. So, with respect, I will have to decline the trade offer.

Oh, Lordy, Lordy, why couldn't that Killer B6 have been a fiver, the money would have already been on the way... :( Sorry, me no good on an "augmented five" bass. :) EG

I never use the C string except for goofing off at home, To me, 6 strings just sound better than fivers. I was asking $4200.00 for this bass (I've actually seen Tobias basses of that era going for more than that) but dropped the price in hope of a quick sale. If you would do me the kindness of spreading the word around, I'd be grateful. Thanks and best regards Paul Slagle +1 818-406-7226 paulslagle@aol.com

Hey Paul, I'll spread the word, no problem, it's definitely a bargain! I've actually got a pre-Gib Basic 6 fretless, that I can navigate pretty well, but feel much more comfortable playing fretted fives. Would love to see pics of your Signature basses, btw, got anything you can email me on levisj125@yahoo.com.au? Cheers, EG

I [i:3vszk1bx]really[/i:3vszk1bx] wish I had $3k to drop on it right now. It would be mine in a heartbeat.
