I haven't been on either of my Carvedarts since I took that head-busting, arm-breaking splat in June. I'm afraid to take another splatter like that. Busted my head open but good.

Skeerd.

I feel ya man. There's still lots of snowboarding left in the season, I'll take my chances on the mountain for the time being.

Once the snow is gone the skateboard will start looking like a good idea again. At least until the first splat on the pavement. ( if we have health insurance) No insurance, no skate.

Our snowboard season goes well into May most years. By then the windsurfing is happening.

I really have no business on a skateboard, at least that's what my wife says.

Don't windsurf, and I haven't been snowboarding this season or the last two due to health and financial issues. Snowboarding goes into May/June here (Mammoth) and went till July 4th last year. I've got really nice gear, just sitting in storage. Might be time to sell it off and call it a day though. I have to sell my Carvedarts as well cause I need the cash to pay for auto insurance. :(

They tell me I shouldn't be skating either. I took a couple falls, but the one in June was really bad. My head is healed up, and the all cuts and abrasions healed over, the wrist is getting better, I can bend it forward now and backward maybe 20 degrees, but several of my fingers still don't have happy times on the bass. Still, I suppose I'd rather get hit by a bus while skating than check out from leukemia. Also, I got no health insurance.

Oh, yeah... Your wife doesn't know what she's talking about :D
