I agree. It's a beautiful one. I really like the detail with the neck heel painted to match the body!

Just one more thing on Accugroove: Mark has - or at least had - a forum on yahoo for some time now. He doesn't need to take over Sheldon's too. And Mark participated on a near-daily basis on a number of other forums, but when the news about the Accuswitch broke he dissappeared from all of them. If he were to surface here I can just see the furor that would cause. And incidentally, least it may be thought I hate AG cabs, it was on my advice that the first few Accugroove cabs were purchased - the earliest serial numbers. That's on public record on at least a couple of forums. Now, let's let Dingwall be the topic here : }

Ok guys, I guess since I really got this going, I should end it myself. I did as I said I would and got in touch with Mark @ AccuGroove and I'll let this email I got from him END it. ========== Hey Monty, Your wonderful comments are music to my ears. I do need to find the time to get in touch with Sheldon. Like you said they are incredible instruments. I have sworn off of bass forums for the time being. On TalkBass I found that no matter how I responded, I got slammed. It was so stupid that after a while it was almost as if I would ype, "Good morning." The response would be, "Who do you think you are. You're nothing but a liar...etc., etc." That, of course, is exaggerated, but not by much. Because of how I was getting persecuted, the easiest thing was to say goodbye to the forums. It's too bad, because I'm a bass player first & foremost, plus I'm very sociable. Forget business, it was great getting to know people all over the world with like interests. At this point I'd prefer that the whole topic died down for the sake of our dealers. We took the switch off the cabinets so our dealers would not have to spend their time defending a "feature" on the cabinets. It's now in the past & people need to focus on what our cabs do well, not what they did or did not do in the past. Best regards, Mark Wright Manager, co-designer & bass player AccuGroove, LLC

By the way everyone, I just recieved my "DW ABII-5" from "Guitar X in Denver by UPS today. Man, I can't believe how great it sounded and looked. The first thing I did when I got home was to just open the case and stare at it for about an hour. I felt excited and dazed like when I was a kid getting something I really wanted. Finally I took it and plugged it into the amp, the sweet smooth luscious sound, the sustain, the ****Warm TONE****. I called three of my friends, that play bass, to come over that It had arrived. They loved it!! I'm sure that wherever I go bass players are going to notice those slanted frets. That's the first thing that is noticed and commented on. The next is the TONE. Now, that's how my day has gone and I promise I'll have some pics to post as soon as I can find a friend with a camera. They may pretty much all look alike but this one is MINE!!!!! HaHaHaHa
