I've used this mini-rig for 2-1/2 years now, exclusively at church (500 seat auditorium, outdoor stage w/ 1200 seats, small cafe gigs, 200 seat gym gig, etc.) Handles the Dingwall low B very well (even the dropped low A is solid). For small / medium sized gigs it carries very well. Even better if you have FOH support, the Eden DI out is superb. Forgot to add, it's very portable. Both cab and 4-space rack fit perfect in the trunk of my hatchback VW Golf (GTI version). The ABII goes up front! :)

Yeah - those Dingers in the front seat. Safe. I'm the same way! You look at it and think.... OK this is going up front where nothing could happen... Do you use a seat belt?

Brim, I am with you on the compact rig. For years I had to squeeze my gear into the front seat of my Nissan pickup if it were to rain. I scaled down from head+410+115+8x8 to a compact head and two compact 112s and I love it! This topic is lots of fun, and I'm sure most of us like to brag on our rigs, but I worry that it does not pertain to Dingwall basses very much and has been done to death on the bigger forums. Plus, I think there is another thread allready going on this here as well.

Here's my setup at the moment. Mhh, I'm missing a bass... Powerwise it's oke, soundwise mwoah... Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. Looking at a Hevos stack (www.hevos.nl) right now. Any experience from you guys? It's Dutch!! Quite impressive, really let's out the bass itsself and doesn't color the sound. Gotta go try sometime soon..

Not mobile (AT ALL). Actually its pretty laughable but I luvs it. [img:1ytaad2h]http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f50/kiddjazz/bassrig.jpg[/img:1ytaad2h] I split the instrument signal through a radial JD7. chain as follows. SVT into the 4x10 portion of the B1540 cab Sunn #1 into the 15" portion of the B1540 Sunn #2 into the 2x10 mesa V6 into the 4b for the uber growl that only the low B of a dingwall can deliver. I am not a loved man during load in and load out, many beers are usually offered for peacekeeping '' Needless to say I gig very little.

 Holy back strain Batman! Is that a PJB cab in there? It looks a little outta place with all the huge vintage gear :)

LOL!!! well stated... yah its all beastly except the PJB extension cab, cant say enough good things about it, for such a small box it handles the low B with such detail and definition that I find it amazing. Id like to accumulate some more PJB stuff but as noted I dont gig enough to justify it.

[quote="Zac Hammons":37y1z78f] That's pretty darn close to what I'm using :) . I use an Ashdown head though. How do you like your Bergies Smallmouth?[/quote:37y1z78f] So far so good! I haven't really played them out that often. My main problem is that I'm always straddling that area between not enough volume and too loud on the LMII. It's in that 7:30 to 9:00 range. Lately, I have been jamming with just one speaker and pushing it (a little) harder. I love the size of the Berg 12s. They are nice and shallow and are easy to carry around. They are now made a little deeper (15" instead of 13"). I am actually happy I got the 13" ones. They fit into my low profile compact trunk easily.

Hey Dragonlord, thanks man, I love the color too, I almost got Sheldon to do my Z3 in the same color but a piece of spalted maple set me off on a different course! I have had several folk come up to me after a gig and offer to buy the bass on the strength of the color alone! Regards N
