Hey all,
I took delivery of a "new to me" (aka used) Combustion V4 5er some months ago. It's been a stellar piece for me... the other basses are slowly-but-surely being sold off :).

I noticed the other day that the top part (nearest the B string, if you will) of the pickguard is warping up, as in away from the body. It's far enough now that if I drop a pick behind the pickguard, I have to take the pickguard off in order to retrieve it. I've tried pulling it off and setting a 5 lb weight on it over night, which "solved" the problem for a few days, but it is back now.
So, I'm just curious how much a new pickguard would run?

TL;DR - how much would a new pickguard be and how do I go about ordering one? :)

Pickguards start at $50. What material is this one? The acetate style material like tort and some pearloids tends to shrink over time.

Uhhh, I'm not sure :). It's whatever came with it originally. I'd have to look, but I want to say it's a 2 or 3 ply black/white/black one?
$50 is good, but I may just deal with it and try to flatten it somehow. It's not a big issue to really worry over.
