Sheldon (or anyone else for that matter) I need some clarification. With all the talk of new models and options, I need the record set straight on the SJ/SPJ/SP/etc basses. This is how I understand it now:
SJ - standard Super J with pg/solid colour. 4/5 string
SJC - Custom meaning rear routed, no pg, standard level wood top. 4/5 string
SJCE - Custom Exotic, same as custom with fancy top. 4/5 string
SPJ - same as SJ (or SJC/CE) with P pu in neck position. 4/5 string
SP - the new Super P as outlined in it's thread --> thin body, traditionally styled 5 string plus the new 4 string just announced.
Do I have it all correct? Did I hear about a SJZ or something like that? :S
Yesh, it's hard to keep up with all of this when you don't have money to buy all these new models.
