Just acquired one of Phil Jones' cabinets, the 12 B Neo. I have to tell you that the sound of the low b is like nothing I have heard, and was reminiscent of a huge church pipe organ. Very distinct lows and clarity to a B or C, and this was in a 20x20x10 room, I can't wait to hear it in a larger venue! If anyone is near Regina and wants to check it out, p.m. me. It is almost like it and the Dingwall were made for each other, if thats not sacrilege considering Sheldon is thinking of a amp line! One other thing, just like here at the Dingwall forum, Phil Jones himself will answer some technical questions via email to support, which is a very cool thing. Here's a pix of my new addtion, if anyones looking for a mesa walkabout scout pm me as have gas for the PJ M-300 for some reason! The M-300 is a fine amp, I can highly recommend the M-500 as well. It has seen well over 1000 hours of heavy use and I can attest that it is bulletproof! [img:1rhi4jm6]http://i511.photobucket.com/albums/s354/rollerberg2000/Phil%20Jones%20Bass%20030509/100_3865.jpg[/img:1rhi4jm6]

I've wanted to try a PJB setup for a while, but a) I can't afford it, and b) I've never found one close to Saskatoon. Would you be willing to let me try 'er out some time? I'll make the trip if so. That's a combustion, yeah? That's what I play, but I guess I don't need to ask how it sounds through the amp. :P

[/quote:3id8i0pd] I don't think I could slide that one by the other half! I see your curve has some highs added, I would say, and its still only been a day, that i would be adding something like that as well currently. Not that I'm saying the cabinet needs a tweeter, as it can go there if dialed up, but that other cabinets I have owned with tweeters seem brighter above 5khz. I am on a farm to the NE. I have a studio in a separate building so highly unlikely to disturb anyone but the chickens!
