Just picked this one up to bookend my AB1 3X. Never tried the super fatties. Good solid single coil tone? I'm also very curious what they'll sound like in series.

They sound great! And you can rewire the neck pup to series for a push towards the P tone sound.
It's also, most likely, routed and ready should you decide to go with a Split P pup and a new pick guard.
That is a killer green.

That's what I did with mine: converted it to a PJ. It's a great bass. Congrats on yours. Candy Apple Green really looks great on stage.
