Hey all,
Just letting you know that I had the Audere 3ZB-4B that came in my AB-II swapped for an Aguilar OBP-3SK/PP. Had the pleasant opportunities to deal with Sheldon and Jeff and the crew again (always a pleasure

), play my bass this Sunday in church to test out the new preamp, and play with the talented Kirt McDougall whose father runs Fury Guitars.
I didn't have much of a chance to tinker with it yet, but initially, I'm really liking it! I like the simpler controls, and the tone definitely sounds different, but that's probably from playing my Comby over the last week.

Controls went from volume/blend stacked, z setting, mid-high/mid-low stacked, high/low stacked, series/parrallel toggle (bridge pu), battery indicator to volume, pu selector, mid with push-pull feq select, treb/bass stacked, active/passive toggle, series/parrallel toggle (bridge pu).
One big change (as far as ergonomics is concerned at least) is I went from knurled metal knobs to the Dingwall slender rubber knobs. They're taking a bit to get used to, but overall, I'd say I'm happy. More to come once I've played around a bit.
