Hey guys, my band 'My Constant' just finished recording our first ever 5-song EP. It just came back from mastering so we put them all up on our Reverbnation page. Check em out if you want.

Hey Tyler - it's not only great basses that come from the 306! For the world wide members here the 306 is a reference used to denote Saskatchewan - that's the area code for the whole province!

I like "If This is the End" the best, partially because the bass is mixed louder than the others. Your drummer has a double bass drum pedal, doesn't he?!! Everything is really nice and tight.

What model bass are you playing?

I assumed 99% of the members here wouldn't be into this style of music, but I did know that 100% of you are into listening to a recorded Dingwall.

Thanks for the compliment Denis, and thanks for the 306 plug, haha. Don't hear that outside these borders.

lol, ya he's got a double. He's pretty crazy on the drums, I'd say one of the best in the city. Very technical, and just all around good in any style you throw at him.

I'm using my ABZ-4. The mix in this one is really good, some things I'd like to change but I mean, its not like we spend tens of thousands of dollars like big time bands do. So I'm okay with the sound, but there are things I'd change in the future. This was my first time in the studio.

Because someone is probably curious; I recorded through a Marshall 100W guitar amp into my Traynor 2x10-1x15 cab. I had 3 tracks going on every take, one mic on the 15", one on a 10", and then DI straight in. Don't worry I took all necessary precautions before flipping the switch on the amp. Sounded pretty cool though, I thought.
