Yoikes! I was polishing my bass after last weekend's gig, and noticed one of the nuts missing from a control switch. Anyone have any ideas for a replacement? Shipping will probably be prohibitive from Canada for such a small item, any idea where Sheldon buys his switches? Thanks, Jeff [img:1tt6mw0g]http://i511.photobucket.com/albums/s354/rollerberg2000/Dingwall/100_4302-1-1.jpg[/img:1tt6mw0g]

I needed to order a replacement switch from Allparts for my ABII. If these are the same switches, I'll gladly mail you the nut from my old one. PM me your address.

That looks like a pretty common part, the trick is getting a black one. Did you do a gig bag search? I bet its down in a seam. I would take off one of the other nuts, and head over to radio shack to try it on a some of their switches. Or any hardware with a good selection. You might have to settle for stainless steel, brass or some other material. Anything that fits can be "colorized" with a black sharpie. Good luck.

I haven't gotten a scratch or dent on this one yet, I've been very careful. I know it was lost at the venue, I clean my bass as soon as I get home no matter how late (or early) it is. It was there the night before when I was cleaning it, it was gone the next cleaning. I didn't bother calling the venue, they had the vacuum out before we left. A big thank you to NaH, I love how bass players, especially DW's help each other out!
