Somebody said on another forum that they played a Super J at a shop recently that had a magnetic battery cover. When did you switch to that? I was under the impression that you were going to keep going with the old method.

Great that this improvement is already done on the SJ. I read an article on the SJ in a Dutch magazine and the only point of critizism was the battery cover. The rest of the article was only 'haleluja!'... I hope my new black/black SJ will have the new battery cover. Is there any way someone can check this? Probably this SJ is already shipped one week ago to Europe, destination EMP. Thanks in advance. Marton

Marton, you're Super J will have the Mag/Bat cavity. SmallEQ, yours too. My photo booth is unavailable right now, but here's a couple of quick shots.

(I think that was a run on sentence)

Any series/parallel wiring?[/quote:3jsseav2] Yes, and the 2nd SC at the bridge could be switched on and off, single/HB with series/parallel/out of phase in addition to a 5 way switch. Painted SJ headstock 8) :D
