You can find a couple of others if you flip through the gallery (some probably pretty old). But they are all parallel fretted, so definitely more conventional in that way. One from the Hard Rock Caf

A friend of mine has a Moonstone Explorer-style bass. It mostly just sits in a closet in the case. It's an amazing looking instrument, but it is a brute - it weighs about 20 lbs. There's earning your money for a gig! Mark

That old Dingwall of Sklar's is pretty cool! Which year was it built? Also heard Lee is very pleased with his new Blueberry Z2, and it made the cut on 8 out of 12 songs on it's first studio date. Mr. Sklar is officially in the "Super Phatty"-camp nowadays, I believe

Just picked up a copy of the Dutch GitaarPlus magazine april 09 with an article with Lee Sklar. He promotes Dingwall big time, but that we already knew. What I didn't know: he says (quoted but freely translated from Dutch): "[i:33xkoted]We have just spoken on a signature model. A new voodoo model variation, of which all is self made (hardware, electronics, p'ups). It would be my honour to see my name on a Dingwall bass. I really believe in what Sheldon is doing. I have never been the man that just tries everything for free because I am famous. If I promote something, I do play on it. [/i:33xkoted] There's a really funny picture inside the magazine, in which Lee and Sheldon give each other the 'finger' (part of Lee's collection of photo's for a screensaver) I cannot capture it in my scanner unfortunately.

Anyone got a picture of Lee playing his new blue bass? I would really like to see it in action.. And put me in line for a signature series
