Go to the contact page on the Dingwall website and click on the long white line that separates the shop contact info and the info on how to contact Dingwall Sales. I've never noticed this before. :? http://www.dingwallguitars.com/html/contact.html Mark

[quote="Smallmouth_Bass":10y4pjyp]Wow, how did you find that one?[/quote:10y4pjyp] I've been to that page many times, but never noticed. I needed to call Sheldon today (I should have the number memorized at this point ), so I went to the page and noticed for the first time as the cursor dragged across it that the line was an active link. I wonder what other subliminal messages are included in the website? We know that Sheldon builds a curse/blessing into each Dingwall that gives you an uncontrollable urge to unload your ordinary basses and buy more Dingwalls (the curse of the Voodoo  ), but this website thing is really clever . dealer favoritism!!! Hehe. Sheldon...the website needs some updating with your most recent PA's and Z's. Also news about the SJ5 wouldn't hurt.

It also takes significant time to gather all the info together. That's less time for building and R&D and longer waiting periods for Prima Artists and SuperJ 5s!

I agree, but for new clients who are not so "into" forums and without having to dig through wads of threads, they should be able to see the latest creations of Shedon right on the website. In this era, your website is your business card!

Yeah, I just guess that Sheldon is so full of work right now that it's not a priority for him to attract new customers.

Ah yes, I remember that now. I guess it is difficult if you can't do the website updates yourself or have someone in the business who can do it. Who has time to be a webmaster when you have so many nice instruments to build!?

Hm. I have very, veeery little html experience, but I could at least update the texts if I was given ftp access to the server where the website is hosted. The texts are very easy to change, it wouldn't be much of a visual change but it would be more accurate... of course, Sheldon would still have to put some time into seeing what changes have to be made etc, which is probably the main problem.

When time comes for a web update, I can supply some pics for the gallery section (I own couple of Dingwalls :P ), and I am sure that many Dingwall owners would be happy to submit HQ pics for the Gallery Section along with Sheldon's perfect photos of his recent masterpieces

Someone must have fixed it - The line seems to not be an active link anymore. At least when I tried it. Oh well.

More useless fun for a Friday morning. I took a few minutes last night and tried to come up with a game like [i:19x0rkcl] [b:19x0rkcl]The 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon[/b:19x0rkcl][/i:19x0rkcl] where you associate ramdomly selected people with each other in six steps or less, but using Dr. Wood instead. I wasn't successful, but I did find this - follow this link to see our favorite luthier listed with a bunch of guys and gals I've never heard of, and a few that we all know: http://www.bassplayers.co.za/batw.html I'll have to try again sometime to see if the association game will work.
