I've been living with my new AB1 for the last 2 weeks now, and all I can say is wow. The feel, the looks (absolutely stunning) the sound (is this thing really passive?) it is just an unbelievable package. Forever changed my view on basses and aside from buying another Dingwall as a backup, I can't imagine purchasing anything else. I have one question for Sheldon though. How do you get the choir to sing in the background when the customer opens the case for the first time?

Very nice. I love the blackburst. This makes me look at my remaining ordinary four string basses and wonder...is it time for an AB4? :) Mark

Congratulations on your AB I. You will spend long hours enjoying this unique bass, till you get another Dingwall. Then you'll be enjoying TWO Dingwalls!!!! Now, that blackburst reminds me to take out my blackburst Z1 and use it tomorrow at the rehearsal
