Dearest Sheldon,
I would like to know if it is possible to use F3Ds in Z2 configuration for a 6 strings fretless bass. If yes, are they available? can YOu send them "open", with no shell, so that I can put them in a finger ramp of certain dimensions?
The fact is.... after playing my Z2, all B strings seem to lack foundamentals and are sloppy.

We can build a Z2 fretless 6-string with FD3 pickups. If your just looking for the pickups for a parallel fret bass, give Carey Nordstrand a shout. He is building Dingwall licensed FD3 pickups for standard basses.
