[quote="Tbranella":1fxpfmek]look again... the pickups say "Bartolini" on them.[/quote:1fxpfmek] We're talking about the AB1, not the Voodoo.

I don't recall if they ever put Barts in Dingwall shells.[/quote:36vjvvhp] You're right. I didn't blow the picture up enough to see that. I hate when people tag their titles to draw in other searchers.

Pre-fire Voodoo Prima 4 string! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dingwall-Voodoo ... 416f62a23a This one could be the little brother to my Voodoo Prima 5 string. What a beautiful quilted top.

Seller is a little fuzzy on the details, like scale length. Looks like an active model, battery cover on the back, four knobs on the control plate. Let the games begin: http://www.ebay.com/itm/300837573515?ss ... 1438.l2649

I think it is still up for sale over at Talkbass: [url:2hateeov]http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/dingwall-super-j-5-string-fs-$3100-00-a-939149/[/url:2hateeov]

Probably realized someone was going to get it for a steal and dropped the ad. That sucks. Awesome bass though!

Then again - there was a whole day left. Everyone bids at the last minute. To me, that is why you set your opening bid at your lowest price.

Right about that, the last couple minutes is when everything happens. I might put in an early bid just so I get emails and reminders, but the real action happens at the last second. I don't want my high bid in until the last 30 seconds. That's not how the Ebay game should be played, you list it as an auction, once it clears the minimum, you sell it!

Looks like the Voodoo Prima 5 (Pre-Fire) is back up, only a little cheaper: [url:315qpv5o]http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dingwall-Voodoo-5String-Bass-1998-/161002745363[/url:315qpv5o] I used to have one of these (maybe even this one) and they look even better in person. This one is one of very few colored tops on the Voodoo (per Sheldon).

Wow. I missed this until now. I've only seen an AB this color in old Dingwall pictures. Just a few hours left. Good price for such a rarity. http://www.ebay.com/itm/dingwall-bass-g ... 3a86721918

Anybody know what year that would be? It's got Bartolini pickups, the old logo and the "Afterburner" model is printed in a handwritten style.

Duh. I don't visit Ebay very often. I didn't think to scroll down past the ads for the related items.
