And that you KNEW that she was soooo awesome that she would WANT you to have it....... Then go promptly to Jarrod's and spend roughly the equivalent on some piece of overpriced jewelry!

On the being brave when the wife aint around front. My wife sits and reads what I type cuz she's feigning interest to be able to monitor the bass flow versus cash flow equilibrium. Shame I always have GAS about something, but then if I didn't I wouldn't be normal.

She wants a new couch, I'll be needing one to sleep on, maybe a little furniture shopping. Without a man's steady influence, you'll end up with a flowery couch that is too short for proper napping, or the occasional night in the doghouse. Best luck on that auction. Between the bass and the new couch, I'm out of the bidding.

At a little over $2800, that is a steal of a price considering what they a new one should sell for (4-4.2K). Of course, the price is bound to head up as the auction comes to a close.

The early AB1s had Barts in them, my first Dingwall bass was an AB1(#0042) w/ BARTS. It wasnt until Sheldon and Fury got together that the Dingwall FD1s showed up maybe a yr or two later
