He repeatedly says "No Reserve - No Reserve"...interesting.
I'm kind of curious about "3 or 5 piece maple neck wood"...does the buyer get the option? Also, FD-4 pickups? When did those come out?
The seller lives about a half hour from me in what is called the "Volcano" area. An active volcano has been erupting there since the mid-80's, and I strongly suspect that the bass is actually Volcano Red, having been charred by the molten lava. I'd advise all you ConUSA guys to stay away.
For anyone that was curious (but didn't want to bother looking, that Candy Apple Red Super J 4 w/drop-D went for $1758 including shipping.

I was watching that red Super J, seems like ebay got the seller a pretty fair price, and good price for the buyer too.
I dropped out of the bidding early, but then I've already got a super J

Yeah, it looks like the seller may have tangled with a non-paying bidder the first time out. Oh, the joys of ebay.
