I think the product descriptions on the Dingwall page should be updated to give more detailed descriptions of the different AB series. For instance, the Afterburner description says they have a one piece neck. I know Ab-I's and (I assume) II's have several pieces. And, I think it mentions the bulEQube. But, that's not in an AB???

I am definitely not Sheldon, but IIRC Sheldon mentioned that in the beginning they were doing 1pc necks for the AB's but because it was getting harder to get good quality boards for 1pc necks they went to 3pc. From my own experience of my 19 Dingwalls I find 1pc (AA I as I call my fist Afterburner for very valid reasons) and 3pc (as ell as 5pc) Dingwall necks all being very very stable. The update on the website takes time and effort, esp when Sheldon and team always evolve products and produce new ones. I am glad that Sheldon answers questions here and we all are very helpful to one another (and we are a knowledgeable community)

It's just that, I remember when I first checked out the website's product descriptions about 2 years ago. At that time, I was not into forums. I didn't join the forum until the previous owner of my Dinger told me about how Sheldon would help me with any issue I might have with the bass. That blew me away! And, sure enough he contacted me the next day after my first posting, and has helped w/ all of my questions and issues since. I guess what I'm trying to say is that some possible customers might be turned off by the not-so-clear product descriptions.....and never experience bass perfection!

Think of the Dingwall Bass Registry (much simpler than updating the website). I have the Excel completed and I have emailed the empty form to few people to fill in. If someone from the Dingwall team is expected to do that, then think of another couple of months in back ordering. I think, as the person with the largest Dingwall family, I must find the time and process all the data in the Excel (from all Dingwall owners who would like to register their basses) before I forward the total to Sheldon to fill in the DoB for each Dingwall.
