I would totally buy this, but for him to ship it from the US to Canada might cost me $600 expecially with UPS. IF there was only a way that I could get it for cheaper.

I had one shipped from Texas for less than $150 US via FedEx. It tool a couple of days and took more time to clear customs than it did to get up here.

That looks like one of the early ones without the battery compartment. Good price on it. Especially since it comes with 3 sets of strings.

Just a note...Jive @ Jivesound's pricing on strings matches or is better than the current auction pricing.

I won the ebay auction for $37. Jong wants $35 fr a 5 string set, but his shipping is $5, so the auction wasn't a bad deal at all

Hmmm. He must have bumped up his shipping charges. When I bought strings a few months ago, he charged me 35 per set then 3 bucks for the shipping...

Hey, that's the one I got off eBay! The wood is actually nicer and darker in person than on those photos.
This is my first bass and I love it!
I play drums and guitar, thought I'd take the plunge and pick up a good bass to expand my repertoire.
Just need to save up for an amp now.
