Ok, call this a pre-ebay watch... I have an ABII that I never really connected with. I'm just not a 5 string guy. Anyway, it should be with someone who's going to play it. Besides, I sense another SJ in my future. There's a small ding near the straplock. $1895 shipped to lower 48 in it's HSC case. paypal preferred. Man, I feel connected to it already, ding and all. Somebody. take this beauty before the vultures of evilbay (like me) get it! You won't regret...this bass will give you love, and it smells like chocolate too.

I don't think that speaks for the bass, but I might be careful.

It would be tempting if it wasn't for the dice inlay. The body can be refinished and knobs/pickguard are easily replaced, but the inlay is something else. I'll keep waiting...

Not a Dingwall, but a Charlie Hunter Novax copy, sort of, made in western Canada. It says the owner had to give it up because of tendinitis  . I would have left that part out of the auction description. http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-8-string-ele ... dZViewItem Mark

I'm not sure I like the colour, but those Dingwalls sure do get around, don't they? Alaska!

Is this the color that was once listed at BassCentral as "Blueberry"? I've seen pictures of a few that color. It's a great price for one of the older afterburners. With the 'old' control configuration and the one piece neck, I guess this would be a maple bodied AB rather than the Alder bodied AB? Who ever picks that one up is getting a bargain.

[i:k25kn149]The Afterburner I is great for finger style or slap, and the on-board preamp makes for a huge bottom and fast response.[/i:k25kn149] That bass doesn't have a preamp.

Ugh. I'm still lamenting the day I let my Voodoo go. I really like that older body style. That Blueberry AB is an attention getter but I am still saving clams (sigh)...
